After a long lapse in church attendance and with a Church of Scotland background we decided to attend a service at St James'. From the start we have been welcomed and to feel very much a part of a caring, compassionate family. Over time, we have been encouraged to take an active part in church activities and enjoy doing so with support of the ministers, elders and lay members alike.

We love being members of St James' because of the tremendous senses of belonging. The very first time we came we were greeted with such a warm wlecome. We feel that we are part of a big family, giving each other support through sad times and rejoicing in good times. We feel at peace here and God's love gives us the strength to cope with anything that life throws at us. Joining St James' feels like coming home.
